The Grass Ain’t Greener on the Other Side

I know the first thing that came to your mind when you read “The Grass Ain’t Greener on the Other Side” was a bad relationship, but that is so far from what I was thinking when I heard Chris Brown say that.  Yes his song is about that, but I instantly felt like, if only we looked at our self worth in this same manner.

So many times we try to compare ourselves to everyone else when there really isn’t any competition.  The only person you are competing with is YOU, and that’s all in your head.  Have you asked yourself why you’re always looking on the other side, or trying to be like Jane?  What makes her or what she’s doing any better than you or what you doing? The feelings of hurt, disappointment, disgust, and anger, are all feelings that are the results of YOU loosing control of your thoughts and the way YOU view your self worth. You know that saying, “God ain’t make no junk“, well guess what, he didn’t, AND THAT INCLUDES YOU!

Here are my top 5 reasons how you know the grass ain’t greener on the other side.

  1. God created you to be exactly who you are, embrace you, and walk in your purpose.
  2. God gave us the ability to make the right choices from the beginning, open your heart and follow him. Now go back to #1, Know that God created you to be who you are, embrace you and walk in your purpose!
  3. EVERYONE one makes mistakes, but everyone doesn’t stay there, STAND on those experiences, and go back to #1. God created you to be who you are, embrace you and walk in your purpose!
  4. God created you to be exactly who you are, embrace you, and walk in your purpose.
  5. God created you to be exactly who you are, embrace you, and walk in your purpose.

Do you get my drift?

The grass ain’t greener on the other side, SHE knows that God created her to be exactly who SHE is. SHE embraced that woman, and is walking in her purpose.   No 2 people were created the same, although we may have the same gifts, we still won’t use it or share it in the same manner.  God wants us to embrace the woman he created us to be.  The longer we stay in a state of mind where we question who we are, the longer we stay on MISSED OPPORTUNITY ST.
